-Scissors

-Permanent marker

-Plastic waste bag (optional)

-Ruler or measuring tape

-Bottle cap (optional)

1. Cut a piece of plastic waste bag to the desired size. If using a bottle cap as part of your spiral coil, cut it to fit inside the opening on the bottle cap. 

2. Draw a straight line down the center of the waste bag. Make sure that both ends of the line are even with each other. 

3. Cut along the line you just drew using scissors. Make sure that both ends of the cut are even with each other. 

4. Now start spiraling your cut pieces of plastic around the center hole on your waste bag like you would in a normal spiral pattern. 

5. When you finish spiraling around the hole, tie one end of your string around the waste bag and the other end around your bottle cap.

6. Pull the string tight around the spiral of plastic so that it holds both objects together.

7. When you have all of your plastic cut out, put a few drops of glue onto the base of your bottle cap and sprinkle on a small amount of glitter in through the hole to make it sparkle.
