Kitten Foods for Different Ages and Stages of Life:

Kittens Under 2 Weeks Old:

If your kitten is under two weeks old, their diet should consist of mother's milk or formula supplemented with a small amount of baby food. A good place to start is by mixing 1/4 cup of formula mixed with 1/2 cup of water in a small bowl and offering it to your kitten every two hours. If you notice any vomiting or diarrhea, contact your veterinarian immediately.

Kittens 2-3 Weeks Old:

At this age, kittens should begin to eat more solid foods. Try feeding them three small meals per day instead of one large meal. If your cat seems hungry after their regular meals, offer them a small portion of their chosen food instead. Remember not to overfeed your kitten; they will grow out of their need for kitten food quickly!

Kittens 3-6 Weeks Old:

By this time, most kittens have started eating moistened kibble or wet food mix on their own. Offer these types of feedings twice a day at first; once in the morning and once at night. As they become more used to solid foods, gradually increase their number of meals to four per day.
